North Friesland is a flat, wide land, crisscrossed by narrow channels, protected by dikes, from horizon to horizon. Starting from Husum, your journey goes along this coast to offshore islands and Halligen. By ship, your way leads through the Wadden Sea to the green island of Föhr, then to Amrum with its mighty sandy beach and on to the small Hallig Hooge. Healthy iodine-rich air will waft around your nose in this vast island and coastal landscape of northern Germany, often surrounded by impressive skies.

Day 1: Husum
Individual arrival in Husum.
Day 2: Husum – Island of Föhr, approx. 44-62 km + Ferry ride
Follow the route through the North Frisian coastal country, through Bredstedt to Dagebüll. In the afternoon, you will go to the island of Föhr by ferry (incl.) and spend the night there.
Day 3: Rest day or round tour Island of Föhr, approx. 42 km
Today you can explore the green island of North Frisia. Once you leave the capital city of Wyk, there is nothing but peace and tranquillity as far as the eye can see.
Day 4: Island of Föhr – Island of Amrum, approx. 30 km + Ferry ride
After a short ferry ride (incl.) you will reach the neighbour island of Amrum. The sandbank is over 1 km / 1.6 mi wide and is one of the most awesome beaches on Germanys North Sea coast. Frisian houses dot the landscape of meadows, sand dunes, forest, and heath. Stay overnight on the island of Amrum.
Day 5: Island of Amrum
Explore the island of Amrum today and cycle through the island’s heathland and dune landscape. A trip to Kniepsand is also very attractive. The beach is a good 1 km wide from the dune to the water’s edge.
Day 6: Amrum – Bredstedt – Husum, approx. 42-65 km + Ferry ride
By ferry (incl.) from Amrum to Dagebüll, you will cycle along the dikes to the North Frisian town of Bredstedt. Continue through North Frisia back to Husum.
Day 7: Husum
Individual departure.
