Sunday evening, City tour with the City Express
The best way to discover the European capital of culture 2009 is a ride with the City Linz Express. During this excursion you will feel the deep and old history of this town while you pass narrow little streets close to the castle, numerous curches and the dome, which has become the biggest church of Austria -  with a tower of 134 metres hight and space for more than 20.000 visitors.
The tour starts directly at the ship and ends in the centre of the city at the main square.

VIENNA

Wednesday afternoon, City Tour by bus
Vienna Austria's capital, impresses all visitors. You start your excursion at the ship landing stage and pass all those numerous and  famous sights, situated in the old center as well as along the big Boulevard, called Ringstraße. Operahouse, City Hall, Parliament, University, Imperial Palace are memorable experiences, which will enthuse you. Visit St Stephens Cathedral or one of the typical Austrian coffee houses.
Duration: approx. 3 - 3,5 hours, short walks 

Thursday afternoon, City Tour by bike
Discover Vienna in a very special way! By bike you will experience all those famous sights from a new and completely different point of view.  Some of the highlights are: the State Opera, Johann Strauß Monument in the City Park, the Hofburg - the winter residence of the Habsburgs (the family that ruled Vienna and half of Europe for over 600 years), the Rathaus (town hall), and - of course - St. Stephan's Cathedral, Vienna's most famous landmark. The ideal way to see Vienna. Easy route on bike paths or streets with little traffic. Frequent stops for picture taking! The tour ends at St. Stephan's Cathedral.

Thursday night: Imperial Palace / Classic Waltz- and Operetta Concert
Quite rightfully, Vienna is called the "Music Capital of the World". The unique possibility to see the represantation rooms of the IMPERIAL PALACE (HOFBURG) is to attend a concert of the Wiener Hofburg-Orchester. The orchestra has pleasure to offer its guests an unforgettable Viennese evening with the famous and beloved compositions by the "King of Waltz" Johann Strauss son as well as arias of operas by W.A.Mozart in the wonderful atmosphere of Vienna's Imperial Palace.
