Day 1: Ljubljana

Individual arrival. Time for a visit of the old city center or castle Laibach.

Day 2: Ljubljana - Vrhnika (approx. 37 km)

Your first stage is a relaxed tour through the Laibacher moor land. Visit the relics of the worlds highest train viaduct or the technical museum with Tito's limousines. Tipp: Hike through the  Iški Vintgar flume. 

Day 3: Vrhnika - Postojna (approx. 36 km)

On back roads and after an easy acclivity you will reach the  national park of Rakov Škocjan with its rare limestone formations. After Lunch you commerce through karstfields to your hotel. Our Tipp: a picnic in the national park. 

Day 4: Postojna - Štanjel (approx. 45 km)

Today's stage is an easy one. Take a brake in the vinery Grca, district of Hrusevica for some culinary specialities. Today you can visit the  Adelsberger grotto (Postojna) and the castle Predjama.

Day 5: Štanjel - day of rest our roundtrip (approx. 36 km)

There are a few possiblities to spend this day. You can rest today and stroll through the heritage protected city Štanjel. If you prefer biking you can bike through the karst region and visit the remains of the frontline of the first World War. Another possibility is to take the train (not included) to Nova Gorcia - one city in two countries: Slovenia and Italy

Day 6: Štanjel - Lipica - Divaca (approx. 41 km)

Today's trip takes you along the botanical garden of Sezana and the impressive military exhibition in the tower of Lokev to Lipica - home of the beautiful wunderschönen Lipizzaner horses. Our tipp: Enjoy a guided tour through the stud.  

Day 7: Divaca - Trieste  - Koper (aprox. 60 km)

An admirable downhill awaits you today. Enjoy Cappuccino at Piazza Unita in the former harbour of the K&K monarchy Trieste. You may also take the boat from the city center to the suburb Muggia. During the hot summer months you might want to enjoy a refreshing bath.    

Day 8: Koper
