Level 2-3, asphalt and agricultural roads, hilly but also longer and steeper slopes on this trip. On this tour you must wear a helmet. You can stay also on the boat instead of a bicycle day.
Day 1: Oban Individual arrival, embarkation from 05.00 p.m.
Day 2 - 7: Possible itinerary
On the first evening you can explore the historic city of Oban, with the famous distillery or go for a walk to the amphitheatre prominently located above the town.
The next day, depending on weather and tide, you either go on a bike trip in the region around Oban or make the first sailing trip. The first main destination is the island of Mull where, if possible, we would like to organise two bicycle tours.
The third-largest and, together with Skye, most popular island of the Hebrides can claim to have something for everybody: along with an impressive mountain landscape, the island offers 300 km of coastline, some interesting castles and numerous pretty little villages calling for a short break in a cosy tea-room.
From Mull, the tour continues towards the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Here you sail very close to the open sea and here is your best chance for watching dolphins, whales or giant sharks.
On Ardnamurchan you are cycling on lonely roads and through beautiful landscapes with fantastic views. Enjoy the overwhelming beauty of Scotland and the countless picturesque villages and fortresses with their history and legends.
After a week of great impressions and wild nature your Scotland trip ends in Oban.
