Tour profile:

Small country roads, some field and forest paths, mostly flat with a few uphill stretches.

Day 1: Warsaw (arrival day)

Individual arrival. Meeting time with the tour guide at 7 pm at your starthotel. The evening is at your own disposal. Overnight in Warsaw.

Day 2: Warsaw - Krutyn(approx. 15 km/9 miles)

After breakfast you will have a guided city tour in Warsaw (facultative for individual tour). At noon transfer to Krutyn (approx. 200 km/125 miles).

Day 3: Krutyn - Nikolaiken - Krutyn (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

After breakfast a bike tour through the Puszcza Piska Forest. This is the biggest forest in the Masurian Lake District. Among the pine and spruce trees live a lot of animals like deer, elks, roe deer, wild boars, hares and foxes. For lunch there is a possibility to have a break in the summer resort Ruciane Nida. In the afternoon you cycle through the masurian villages to Wojnowo. Dinner and bonfire with accordion music.

Day 4: Krutyn - Region Nikolaiken (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

In the morning, kayak tour along the river Krutyn. (facultative for individual tour). Today you admire one of the most beautiful part of this trip: pure water, which reflects the undisturbed landscape, there are fish and birds, especially many kingfishers. In the afternoon you cycle through the masurian landscape park to Nikolaiken. 

Day 5: Nikolaiken (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

Today you bike along the masurian lakes in the area surrounding Nikolaiken. You go through the picturesque villages and also you bike by the masurian channels. On the way to Luknajno you watch swans in the Natural Reserve Luknajno. In the afternoon there is time for a coffee break and sightseeing in Nikolaiken.

Day 6: Nikolaiken - Region Rastenburg (approx. 50 km/31 miles)

After breakfast cycle tour along the Ryn Lake to the town Ryn. After a coffee break in a mighty castle you go further to the village Nakomiady where you can visit a beautiful park.

Day 7: Rastenburg (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

Visit of the Wolf´s Lair, the former headquarters of Hitler in East Prussia. In the afternoon a boat voyage to the cormorant island and further to the town Gizycko. 

Day 8: Rastenburg - Sensburg (approx. 45 km/28 miles))

In the morning a stroll through the downtown of Rastenburg with the pastor of the protestant  Church (only included in the guided tour). Afterwards cycle tour to the old, masurian town Reszel, where you can visit a mighty castle. In the afternoon you reach the village Holy Linden, where you visit a beautiful baroque church. There you can listen to an organ concert as well.

Day 9: Sensburg - Warsaw

Early bus transfer to Warsaw (approx. 220 km/137 miles), arrival at approx. 11:30 a.m. Individual departure or extension.
