Level 2-3, The day-tours average 40 km and take you through partly hilly and mountainous terrain. There will also be extended climbs where walking your bike is of course permitted. Most of the roads are asphalted. You can set aside a whole or half-day for swimming or relaxing on board the boat whenever you want.

Day 1: Marmaris

Individual arrival to the airports of Izmir, Bodrum or Dalaman and group transfer to Marmaris. Check in on board from 2 pm. In the afternoon you can enjoy a stroll through the city‘s labyrinth of winding streets and if you want, you can also visit the famous bazaar. The trip starts with dinner on board.

Day 2: Marmaris - Sarsala (approx. 35km/22miles)

Ship ahoy! A two-hour cruise brings you to a picturesque swimming bay. From here you cycle over a 850 ft./ 250 m high pass before you reach the plain of Dalaman. Today’s destination is Sarsala, a quiet bay, where you stay overnight.

Day 3: Sarsala - Fethiye (approx. 30km/19miles)

After breakfast you sail to Fethiye, passing many small islands on the way. You cycle through a pine forest until you reach the since 1922 uninhabited Greek city of Kayaköy, which was once home to some 6.500 inhabitants. On foot you discover the ruins of Kayaköy and afterwards our bike tour leads us to Fethiye. Here is still enough time to go on a worthwhile walk through the lively town. Especially the close to the mosque of Eski Cami situated old town with its narrow alleys and typical corner houses as well as the Lykian tombs high above the city – for instance the gorgeous rock cut temple tomb of Amyntas – are worth seeing.

Day 4: Fethiye - Saklikent Canyon -  Göcek (approx. 40km/25miles)

A bus transfers (50 min) you to Xanthos, the starting point of today’s cycling tour. From here you bike to the Saklikent Canyon, where you can enjoy lunch at the river bank. In Turkish “Saklikent” means “Hidden City”. The canyon is spectacular and can be easily explored on foot. Afterwards you continue your cycling northwards to Kemer, where you are picked up by a bus and transported to the boat in Fethiye (approx. 30 min). From here the Bahriyeli takes you to Göcek, where you spend the night.

Day 5: Göcek - Dalyan (approx. 40km/25miles)

From Göcek – due to its important Marina one of the most significant places of tourism along the Turkish south coast – you bike over a 1.150 ft./ 350 m high pass, enjoying panoramic views. Afterwards you cross a pine forest before you cycle along a quiet minor road down to the Dalaman plain, through fertile fields and lush vegetation to Dalyan. From here a small boat takes you down the river – passing the impressive Lykian rock cut tombs of Dalyan – to the Bahriyeli, where you stay overnight.

Day 6: Dalyan - Kaunos - Ekincik (approx. 30km/19miles)

In the morning once more a small boat picks you up and takes us to the ancient city Kaunos which is worth a visit before you cycle along the Köycegiz lake until you reach the thermal baths that invite you to a healing bath. After a 350 m / 1.150 ft climb you arrive at the little village of Ekincik, where you spend the night.

Day 7: Ekincik - Marmaris (approx. 55km/34miles)

After a two-hour crossing you arrive at the Bozborun Peninsula. On your last bike ride you take a lonely mountain road in order to get to a cute mountain village with its 1500 year old trees. After a spectacular descent down to Icmeler‘s coastal road our cycling tour finally leads you to Marmaris, where the boat already awaits you with a delicious dinner. The last evening aboard takes place traditionally and includes the communal dinner and a last get-together in a cosy atmosphere with crew and tour guides.

Day 8: Marmaris

After breakfast disembarkation and group transfer to the airport. Individual departure or extension.
