Level 1-2; mostly flat, several few slightly hills, mostly tarmaced streets and cycle paths

Day 1: Gdansk (Danzig)

Individual  Arrival until 5 p.m. to the 1000 year old Hanseatic city. Guided City tour.

Day 2: Gdansk - Malbork (approx. 37 km)

After breakfast we take a train/bus to Malbork, where a guided tour of the mightiest European fortress, the capital of Teutonic Knights, awaits. In the afternoon starts the first bicycle joureny (quite an easy route, beautiful fews of the landscape), and , afterwards - bus transfer to Elblag. 

Day 3: Elblag - Frombork (approx. 40 km)

After breakfast you take a ship to the Druzno Lake and the ercted between 1845-1860 Elblag Canal. You will be passing small peaks and shall have numerous opportunities to observe wild birrds nearby. In the afternoon you cycle towards Frombork.

Day 4: Frombork - Kalinigrad/former Königsberg (free day)

From Frombork bus ride to Kaliningrad, where a gudied tour awaits you. Lunch is also scheduled in the programme. After sightseeing you ride to the renowened Baltic resort of Zelenogradsk.

Day 5: Amber coast (approx. 40 km)

Today you take a beautiful bike trip through shadowy tree alleys in Zelenogradsk. On the road you make a stoppage in Yantarny and visit the amber mine. Taking a walk in the resort of Svietlogorsk is a nice ending of the day.

Day 6: Cranz - Rossitten - Nida (approx. 50 km)

Today´s bike trip leads you through Russain part of the Spit. Riding over shalt roads you rach the field station in Rbachnoye, dedicated to bird observation. An intersting museum is situated here. Almot one millon of birds can be ssen here each year. In the afternoon you head further to the Russian part of the Spit and observe sand dunes. At the end of this today bike tour you reack Nida.

Day 7: Curonian Spit ( approx. 15 km)

Today you head for the summer home of Thomas Mann, German Nobel Prize laureate - today a museum. After visiting the museum you ride to the highest dune of the Spit, where we admire the Baltic and Curonian Lagoon. The afternoon is free - it is a good opportunity to enjoy sea bathing.

Day 8: Nida - Klaipeda (approx. 60 km)

Upon one of the most beautiful route in eastern Europe you reach Klaipeda, having corssed the whole Lithuanian part of the Spit by bike. In Juodokrante you take a break, to admire the bizarre sculpts of Lithuanian legends on the Witch Hiill. In the late afternoon a gudied tour of Klaipeda's Old Town awaits you.

Day 9: Klaipeda

Individual departure or extended stay in Klaipeda. (direct ferry connection Klaipeda - Kiel)
