Tour profile:

You are cycling mainly on asphalted minor roads along the flat coast with little traffic. Only on day 3 slightly undulating and on day 7 a longer climb on a beautiful scenic route with stunning views. On island Ponza a short but hilly section has to be covered. All other days are not demanding more than regular office-fitness.

Day 1: Frascati

Individual arrival.

Day 2: Frascati - Rome - Frascati (approx. 30 km)

Today you bike through the vineyards of the Frascati to Rome. You can discover Rome by bike because it's Sunday and the city is nearly completely closed for cars! With these special impressions in the bike bag you get back to Frascati by train (included).

Day 3: Frascati - Sermoneta (approx. 55 km)

In the morning transfer to the famous summer residence of the pope in Castel Gandolfo. On your way to Sermoneta you bike through a slightly hilly and fructuous wine growing landscape.

Day 4: Sermoneta - Lido di Latina (approx. 40 km)

Today you start your day with a rustling descent and also the further route through the flat, fructous lowlands of Latina is easy to cycle. Early in the afternoon you reach the long sandy beaches of Lido di Latina and the hotel which is directly located at the sea.

Day 5: Lido di Latina - Terracina (approx. 50 km)

You bike on a silent idyllic coastal road the whole day. You can have a swimming break wherever you want and in the afternoon you reach the beautiful city Terracina.

Day 6: Terracina - Island Ponza - Terracina (approx. 22 km)

After 2 ½ hours on the ship you will reach the island Ponza. The island is affected by a lively harbour town and a bizzare, volcanic coastal landscape. You enjoy a day on the bike on this interesting island before you get back to Terracina by boat. Due to changing wind and weather conditions it can be that the ship ride does not take place - alternative route by bike around Terracina!

Day 7: Terracina - Formia - Naples (approx. 50 km)

Today you cycle through a small fishing village with white houses. Early in the afternoon you reach the railway station of Formia, where you take the train into the centre of Naples.

Day 8: Naples

Individual departure or extension.
