Tour profile:

The route is mostly flat, slightly down hill, the paths are asphalted - a few stretches on firmly fixed gravel roads. Suitable also for children and beginners.

Day 1: Brixen

Individual arrival.

Day 2: Brixen - Bruneck (approx. 40 km)

From Brixen you pass the abbey Neustift on your way to the Pustertal valley. Along the river Rienz you reach Buneck. We recomend a visit in the ethnic museum in Dietenheim.

Day 3: Bruneck - Niederdorf/Toblach (approx. 30 km)

Slightly uphill the way leads you via Olang to Niederdorf, which is embedded in the unique scenery of the Dolomites. The two beautiful lakes "Prager Wildsee" and the "Toblacher See" close to the the three world famous obelisks of sheer rock, the ‘Drei Zinnen' are a very popular site.

Day 4: Niederdorf/Toblach - Lienz/Surroundings (approx. 50 km)

Today you bike through juicy alpine pastures and sweet smelling larch-woods and cross the Austrian-Italian Boarder. Deep down in the valley between the south tyrolean and the Lienzer Dolomites lies Sillian. Afterwards you contine very pleasantly downwards into the most sunny town of Austria - Lienz.

Day 5: Lienz Surroundings - Berg (approx. 35 km)

You cycle along the traces of old roman trade routes and leave the delta of the river Isel to the river Drau. Passing marvellous woods you continue on romantic paths into the winegrowing village of Berg.

Day 6: Berg - Spittal/Surroundings (approx. 50-55km)

Through the idyllic landscape you bike to the juwel of carinthia - the lake Millstätter See. The mild climate with its settled good weather conditions and the pleasant water temperature of the lake will guarantee you recovery and relaxation.

Day 7: Spittal Surroundings - Villach (approx. 40 km)

Your last biking day leads you to the city of Villach. Around Villach there are a lot of attractions that are worth visiting e.g.: Castle Landskron with its eagle-flight-show and the monkey mountain.

Day 8: Villach

Individual departure or extension.
