On a tour through the town you come with each step across traces of the island’s great past. You can end the evening relaxing in one of the town’s numerous bars and cafes.

Day 3: Island of Kalymnos (approx. 30km/19miles)

You start our cycle trip from the harbour Pothia, along the coast and later on through a sur-prisingly green and fertile valley to the quiet fishing village of Vathy, where you can have a coffee break in a cosy taverna. You take the same route back to Pothia and if you would like to cycle a little further you may take a trip to the Convent of Agioi Pantes, from where you have a brilliant view over the harbour. In the afternoon, you travel on with the ship towards Lipsi, where you stay overnight.

Day 4: Island of Lipsi (approx. 15km/9miles)

Lipsi with its quiet beaches and parts and its 55 churches, which has been largely spared from tourism, is a very worth-seeing island. A cycle trip in the morning brings you to the fort of the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem in Agia Marina and into the small alleys of the town. After an espresso break in the idyllic harbour of the town you cycle on to the seaside chapel of Agios Isidoros, in which many couples get married.
