Route proposals:

Bike ride in the Danube Loop + ship passage, approx. 35 km

In the morning (9 am.) you take the excursion boat through the upper Danube Valley until Schlögen, the gate to the famout Danube Loop, whre the river makes an about turn of 180 degrees. Experience the idyllic scienary along the stepp densely wooded hillsides by bike. Pass by small viallges, typical taverns attract with regional specialities. With the tiny wooden ferryboats you can change numerous times from bank to bank. A fantastic start for your bike tour. Back to Passau by ship. 

Inn Cycle Path - Bike ride to the baroque town of Schärding, approx. 33 km

Your today`s cycle path leads you along the austrian and german boarder to the old town Wernstein - where you can visit Caslte Neuburg and Castle Wernstein.  Have a look on the Inn norrowness, bevore you reach the beautiful baroque city Schärding.

Ancienat Bavarians - Bike ride to Engelhartszell, approx. 54 km

On one of the most famous bike paths the Danube Cycle path your bike ride leads you through charming nature and beautiful landscape. Passing Obernzell you reach the city Engelhartszell with the only trappist abbey of Austria. Don´t miss to visit it!

Bavarian Danube Cycle Paht to Vilshofen, approx. 50 km

The classical Danube Cycle Path leads you through a picturesque valley and the southern extensions of the Bavarian Forest. Your milestone is "The small Three River City Vilshofen!", where the rivers Vils and Wolfach merge into the Danube. The Benedictine abbey Schweikelberg is located high over the city. The herbal liqueur of Schweikelberg is very popular all over the world.
