Tour profile:

You cycle on fortified and asphalted roads, flat route;

Day 1: Bad Wimpfen

individual arrival to Bad Wimpfen - embarkation at 4.00 pm.

Day 2: Bad Wimpfen - Eberbach (approx. 40 km/25 miles) 

Cycle to Neckarzimmer, there you walk or cycle to fortress Hornberg, where Götz von Berlichingen lived. Then continue by bicycle to Eberbach, the old residence of German nobility Staufer.

Day 3: Eberbach – Heidelberg (approx. 38 km/24 miles)

Our first highlight of the day is the quaint town Hirschorn , the pearl of Neckar valley. Then you cycle through idyllic medium mountain range Odenwald to Neckarsteinach and then via Neckargemünd to Heidelberg. Stroll through the historic old town and visit the ruins of the mighty castle.

Day 4: Heidelberg – Ladenburg – Worms (approx. 55 km/33 miles)

Say goodbye to river Neckar and welcome on old Father Rhine. Worms is a major historic centre of Germany, with the famous dome, the Nibelungen saga and Martin Luther, reformer and protestant.

Day 5: Worms-Nierstein (approx. 40 km/24 miles)

The mild and fertile climate shows in orchards, fertile fields, lush meadows and vineyards. A tractor takes you up into the vineyards, afterwards wine-tasting and a hearty meal at the wine-grower’s.

Day 6: Nierstein – Main (approx. 20 km/12 miles)

Romantic, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque style: all these you will encounter during the guided city tour of Mainz.

Day 7: Main – Bingen – Koblenz (approx. 35 km/21 miles)

Cycle tour to Bingen and Rudesheim. Our boat will bring us to Koblenz.

Day 8: Koblenz

Individual departure after breakfast or extension.
