The land of Limburg in Holland and Belgium is the ultimate biking and walking paradise in Europe with more than 1800 kilometers of car-free superior quality bicycle tracks, with excellent signposts and with outstanding Belgien cuisine. It is famous for its historical cities, 700 Belgien and Limburg types of beer, delicious fruit pies "Vlaii" and chocolate pralines and famous hospitality.

a bike tour on well-equipped bike paths, some parts of the route on side roads.
Day 1: Maastricht
Individual arrival, embarkation at Midday, by boat into the historical Liége (Belgium). In the evening you will have a city tour.
Day 2: Angleur - Kanne (approx. 35 km)
Visit the famous market "La Batte". Shipping to Amay. Then shipping to Angleur. You cycle through the beautiful valley of the Ourthe to the wonderful town of Tillf and the delightful town of Esneux. In the afternoon sailing trip to Kanne.
Day 3: Kanne - Maasmechelen (approx. 35 km/22 miles)
The today´s bike tour leads you through an enchanted world of legendary castles, miraculous legends and a mysterious past. Centuries-old stories occur here in a fairy-tale setting of sweet fruit blossoms, ready to be picked, of green woods and endless panoramic views.
Day 4: Maasmechelen - Weert - Maasmechelen (approx. 39 km)
The Limburg National Park Hoge Kempen surprises you with beautiful bike routes between large woods and impressive land dunes. if you like to shorten you daily leg, it is no problem - you can also enjoy a shopping tour in Maasmechelen.
Day 5: Maasmechelen - Thorn (approx. 35 km)
After breakfast the MIRO sails through small picturesque canals with beautiful scenery to the little historical museum city of Thorn. You start the route by beautiful old farmhouses via the Meuse route along the beautiful of River and the splendid Limburg lakes and farmland. This evening you have the opportunity to enjoy the Traditional Captains dinner on board. (not included)
Day 6: Thorn - Maastricht (approx. 39 km)
During a delicious early breakfast we sail towards the sun across the beautiful Limburg lakes to the industrious sailors town of Maasbracht. Here you pass the impressive lock-complex at the beginning of the Juliana canal to the locks of Born, where the bike tour starts. Through the rural village of Stein you ride along beautiful apple orchards to the little village of Elslo with its magnificent castle. In the evening the Harbour taxi or the Miró takes you to the old historical centre of Maastricht.
Day 7: Maastricht
Disembarkation at 10 a.m., individual departure.
The Captain reserves the right to change routing and time table because of navigational security.
