Explore the gems around the river: Dresden, Saxon Switzerland, city Meißen, Saxon Wine Street and intimidating water castle Moritzburg. Apart from the major attractions many sleepy villages contribute to this charming cycle tour.

Charakteristic:
Level 1, You cycle in a flat to undulating countryside. On Elbe cycle path free of traffic along one of the most beautiful rivers of Germany. Other parts follow minor roads and country lanes through varied river scenery.
Day 1: Dresden
Individual arrival in Dresden; in the evening is your handing out of rental bicycles (if booked) as well as information meeting. Take a stroll through the nice old town.
Day 2: Pirna (approx. 50 km)
Along the Elbe and about castle Pillnitz the cycle track leads you to Pirna. The Old Town with the marketplace and the Marien's church is attractive. The Canalettohaus is dedicated to the painter Canaletto. Every Monday at 2 pm. 14:00 you can take part in a city tour.
Day 3: Radebeul and Moritzburg (approx. 45 km)
Winding ways leads you by romantic valleys to the Karl's May city of Radebeul. The Lößnitztalbahn brings you to castle Moritz where you visit the famous moated castle. By the landscape protection area peace wood and Moritzburger pond area you cycle back to Dresden.
Day 4: Dresden
Start your day with a city tour which shows you numerous attractions of Dresden. The afternoon is dedicated to the wine of the region. A Dresden winegrower presents some noble drop to you at a wine tasting.
Day 5: Meißen (approx. 25 km)
On the Elbe cycle path you reach Meissen. Beside the porcelain manufacture the Meißner cathedral and the Albrecht's castle are also worth seeing. In the afternoon you take a ship which brings you back to Dresden.
Day 6: Kamenz und Prießnitztal (approx. 50 km)
By train you reach today the "Lessingcity" Kamenz. The museum of the same name reminds of Lessing here. Try on the tour back to Dresden the famous gingerbreads in Pulsnitz and enjoy the journey by the wild-romantic Prießnitztal.
