Travel details

Tour profile:

You cycle mostly on paved side roads with some uphill stretches. You can join the tour guide or bike on your own. Minimum Age 10 years.

Day 1: Trogir – Split (approx. 12 mi./20 km)

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3mi./ 5 km away from the harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht the first short cruise starts at 1 pm from Trogir to Split. Here we undertake our first cycle tour to the Marjan Mountain, a popular relaxation destination for the inhabitants of Split.

Day 2: Cetina Canyon (19 mi./30 km - 27 mi./43 km)

After breakfast we cycle through the valley of the Cetina River which is surrounded by steep rocks. After 12,5 mi./ 20 km we have the choice to take part on a 4 hours rafting tour on the Cetina River and afterwards a small cycle tour of about 6,2 mi./ 10 km back to the boat - or to expand the cycling tour to 27 mi./ 43 km along small side roads and versatile landscapes until reaching Omiš and its pirate castles. In the afternoon cruise to Island Brac with a bathing stop. Brac is famous for its shining white marble which was also used for the White House and the Reichstag in Berlin.

Day 3: Brac Island (approx. 14 mi./22 km)

Today's route begins in Pucišca with a long but moderate ascent to the mountain ridge of the island past mulberry, kiwi and fig trees, olive groves and vineyards. The following descent to Bol rewards us for our earlier climb with amazing panoramic views of the neighboring island Hvar. Right before lunch we cross to the island of Kor?ula. Overnight stay in the picturesque harbor of Racišce.

Day 4: Mljet Island (approx. 7 mi./12 km)

Early in the morning we cruise to the green and forestry island Mljet - known as the honey island. During the 12th Century Benedictines have established a wonderful situated monastery on this island. The pinewood is known as one of the most impressing of the whole Mediterranean - It is said that Odysseus has stayed there for seven years. Today the place is a national park and a highlight of every Dalmatian trip. We have enough time to explore the national park on a small cycle tour, as well as to visit the “Monastery Island of the Holy Maria” and finally of course we may take a swim.

Day 5: Korcula Island (approx. 34 mi./55 km)

Today we explore the Island of Korcula by bicycle. The peacefulness and remoteness of luscious gardens with large cypresses dominate the appearance of perhaps the most beautiful Dalmatian island. First we cycle along the coastal road for a short while. After a short period of pushing our bikes to Pupnat we reach the old pass road above the magnificent bay of Pupnat and later the village of Blato which, like Rome, was built on 7 hills. Overnight stay in the harbor of Vela Luka.

Day 6: Hvar Island (approx. 12,5 - 15 mi./20 - 25 km)

After arriving in Hvar we make an interesting tour around the town, across the large Renaissance square, which is lined with the cathedral and many late gothic palaces. Our first bike tour for today leads us along the almost traffic free pass road through small villages. After lunch in Stari Grad we make a second cycle tour. The destinations for the tour are the harbors of Jelsa and Vrboska, which invite us to an extended break. We stay overnight in Stari Grad, which has become a Mecca for artists and art lovers in the past few years.

Day 7: Solta Island (approx. 12 mi./19 km)

After crossing over to Stomorska on the island of Solta we commence our last cycle tour. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, locust bean and fig trees line the roads. The herb smells of lavender and rosemary accompany us along our tour of this island. In Maslinica we load the bikes onto the ship and enjoy our last crossing back to Trogir where, if time permits, we can take a tour of the old town which is a world heritage site.

Day 8: Disembarkation at Trogir

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.

The captain reserves the right to make changes to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions and where required by organizational necessities.
