National Parks of Dalmatia by bike & boat

the "green" landscape
  890,-

Numerous romantic ruins, charming hills, countless natural beauties and phenomena are waiting to be discovered!

Croatia has a beautiful coast with thousands of islands, reefs and bays. On one of our easiest tours, we invite you to spend week on a ship cruising between the mainland and the islands. Good cuisine, an open minded crew and knowledgeable tour guides are expecting you. We visit two National Parks and the islands of Central Dalmatia, starting from Trogir. Highlights include UNESCO protected old town of Trogir, Primošten, Šibenik with its famous cathedral, Zadar, National Park Krka-waterfalls and Kornati Islands. On a romantic motor yacht, our floating accommodation, we discover the charm of the Adriatic in our own special way.
our recommendation:
because of limited capacity we recommend to book early!

Travel details

Tour profile:

The routes cover hilly terrain and can be completed without time constraints. You will also come across some rather steep climbs, where walking your bike is of course permitted. The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside of holiday periods.

Day 1: Trogir – Rogoznica (approx. 4-11 mi./7- 17 km)

Individual arrival, either by car to Trogir or by plane to Split. After checking in on the motor yacht at Trogir and a first lunch on board, our first cruise starts leading us to Rogoznica. In the afternoon we start a round tour cycling along the wide bay.

Day 2: Rogoznica – Primošten – Šibenik – Vodice (approx. 9 mi./ 15 km)

In the morning we cycle from Rogoznica to Primošten. Our motor yacht then takes us through a narrow passage to Šibenik. After visiting the famous cathedral and the worth seeing old town, our ship takes off again and continue towards Vodice, where we stay this night

Day 3: Vodice – Murter – National Park Telaš?ica (approx. 17 mi./ 27 km)

Our mornings bike ride leads us from Vodice to the island of Murter, which is connected with the mainland by a lift bridge. We meet the ship for dinner in a romantic quiet harbor. In the afternoon we go on a cruise through the National Park of the Kornati islands, an archipelago of crystal clear waters known for its diverse flora and fauna. In the peaceful atmosphere of the Telašcica nature park we go for a walk along the impressing cliffs of the island.

Day 4: Island of Dugi Otok (approx. 19-40 mi. / 30 km-65 km)

Our bike tour begins in Telašcica Nature Park along a virtually traffic-free road. Along a panoramic road, we ride clear across the island. During the ride we’re treated to countless unforgettable vistas of the islands in the deep blue sea. We meet our ship in the harbor of Brbinj and have lunch. Afterwards the ship takes us to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia.

Day 5: Island Pašman and Ugljan – Skradin (approx. 22 mi./ 35 km)

During breakfast the boat is crossing over to Island Ugljan situated at the channel of Zadar. Today we have lots of cycling time to discover the two islands which are now connected by a bridge. Beautiful views to the sea and the opposite mainland will be enabled while cycling along the east coast. Afterwards our boat passes Sibenik and the lower course of the river Krka; cruise along the river windings until we reach Skradin.

Day 6: National Park of Krka – Island Zlarin (approx. 19 mi./ 31 km)

The magnificent port of Skradin is today’s start point for a wonderful morning cycle tour. We will cycle though forestry valleys to the Visovac- lake which is situated on the upper course of the river Krka. On calm roads and through introspective villages we will return to Skradin. In the afternoon we start from here to visit the most famous part of the National park of Krka with its unique waterfalls. Later on the boat will take us to the coral island Zlarin.

Day 7: Island of Solta (approx. 9 or 25 mi./ 15 or 40 km)

In the morning our motor yacht takes us to island Solta. Olive and fig trees and farmland surround the streets. The spicy smell of lavender and rosmary will follow us throughout the whole tour around the silent island until we reach the village Grohote. During mid day our last cruise takes us back to Trogir. Here we have enough time to visit the world cultural heritage and medieval old town. After dinner it is time to say good bye to crew and travel guides.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.

The captain reserves the right to make changes to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organizational requirements.
