Tulip blossom by bike & boat from € 599,-

from the world city Amsterdam to the "Venezien of the North" Bruges
 599,-

An unforgetable bike & boat tour between Amsterdam and Brügge. Enjoy the blossom of the tulips. Two countries, Holland and Belgium, united in one route. Combining the highlights of Holland's Golden Age and the heydays of the Flemish trade cities in the Middle Ages.

Notice the big difference between the green polder landscape abounding in water, with its tranquil roads and villages and the old world of islands in Zeeland with its pastures, creeks, winding dikes and dams. On top of that the often so picturesque Flemish countryside between Belgian cities of Ghent and Bruges.
our tip: book early, because of limited capacity!!!

In the morning cruise to Schoonhoven. From there you cycle through Alblasserwaard to Kinderdijk. Numerous big wind mills are awaiting you there. You can visit a mill. Afterwards cruise to Dordrecht, one of the oldest cities of the Netherlands, which is embedded between flows. Dordrecht is since the beginning of time an important nodal point for shipping.

Day 3: Dordrecht - Willemstad - Tholen (approx. 35 - 50 km/22 - 31 miles)

You cycle through typical Dutch landscapes between the streams Waal and Maas into Willemstad. You pass the impressing lock "Volkerak" by bike and then you continue to Tholen, which was former an island and is now connected with the mainland.

Day 4: Willemstad - Antwerp (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

You cycle through the well-wooded region "Wouwse Plantage" towards south. Nearly unnoticed you pass the boarder to Belgium. Be pleased about diamond city Antwerp, which is also well-known as birth place of famous painter Peter Paul Rubens.

Today you cycle along river Zeeschelde upstram where charming landscapes can be discovered. If wished you can go on board again in Temse or you continue to Dendermonde. We recommend visiting the medieval market square and Sint-Alexius-Beginenhof (1288).

Day 6: Dendermonde - Gent (approx. 35 km/22 miles)

Easy 35 km of cycling until you reach Gent, the university city. The fortunate location brought a lot wealth during many years which reached its peak in the end of 13th century until the beginning of 14th century. There are many old patrician houses in good condition in the city centre. The most important church is St. Baafs cathedral.

Day 7: Gent - Bruges (approx. 45 km/28 miles)

Your cycle tour to Bruges through the flat area of Flanders starts out of town. Bruges, which is also named Venice of the North,  is probably the most beautiful Flemish city. Its medieval old city is nearly intact. Bruges was cosmopolitan city and commercial centre in former times. After your dinner a stroll through the city is offered.
