The islands of Brac, Šolta, Vis, Hvar and Korcula as well as some worth-seeing parts of the Croatian mainland are combined to an unforgettable cruise. A wine or honey tasting just as a meal in a typical Dalmatian Konoba instead of a lunch on board of the ship also belong to the plus factors of the trip.
our tip: because of limited capacity we recommend to book early!
Level 2-3: The bike tours require a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling. The cycling tours fit in equal measure to cyclists with trekking bikes or E-bikes. The tours take you up to a height of between 660-1640 ft./ 200 and 500 m above sea-level. The daily tours from 12,5-31 mi. /20 to 55 km lead you through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time-constraints. Participants also need to master long and steep climbs- Streets are mostly asphalted and less traffic occurs during the off seasons.
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3 mi./ 5 km away from the harbour of Trogir. After the check in on the motor yacht (from 11 am) we leave Trogir around 13 pm. After crossing over to Maslinica on the island of Šolta we commence our first cycle tour. In Stomorska the boat picks us up and takes us to Split.
Today we get to know the western part of the island. We cycle from Supetar to Milna where the boat already awaits us for a crossing to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar. After a short guided tour through Stari Grad – founded as a Greek colony named Faros – today’s afternoon cycling tour leads us from over a pass of 1.300 ft./ 400 m to the capital of the island. Hvar town has a worth-seeing old town with its large-scaled Renaissance square, which is lined with the cathedral and many late Gothic palaces. Also worth a visit is the so-called Spanish fortress.
Vis is the most remote island from the Croatian mainland. More than 2.300 years ago it was a Greek colony named Issa. Due to its strategic favorable location Vis was a military area until 1995 and not accessible for tourists. On today’s cycle tour we can enjoy the lovely island. Later on the boat takes us to the island of Kor?ula where we spend the night either in a quiet harbour or an idyllic bay.
Prigradica is today’s starting point of our bike ride right across Korcula Island. On our way we can experience the peacefulness and remoteness that dominate the appearance of perhaps the most beautiful South Dalmatian island. Lunch takes place in a typical Dalmatian Konoba and afterwards we cycle to the small harbour of Racišce. After a short crossing we reach Korcula town and there is still enough time to explore the wonderful old town.
Hvar is well-known as lavender island beyond the Croatian borders and was chosen to be one of the ten most beautiful islands of the world. We can convince ourself of Hvar’s charme during todays cycle tour from Sucuraj to Jelsa. The idyllic port of Jelsa invites for having an ice cream before we leave to the island of Brac in the afternoon. At good weather we make a swim stop at the famous „Golden Horn“ before arrival at Bol, the capital of the island.
In the morning we cycle from Bol to the other side of Brac Island. Breath-taking views of the town and the neighbouring island of Hvar reward us for the climb. Our destination is the picturesque harbour of Pucišca. During lunch we are crossing to Omiš, an old pirates town on the mainland.
After breakfast we can either cycle through the hinterland to Split or we can be taken by the boat there. From Split we start our last bike ride that leads us to to the Marjan Mountain, a popular relaxation destination for the inhabitants of Split. After this tour the Princeza Diana awaits us for the last cruise back to Trogir.
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.
The captain reserves the right to make changes to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions and where required by organizational necessities.
