Travel details

Tour profile:

mostly flat to very gently hilly terrain. You can decide if you cycle the short bike legs of 7,5 to 12,5 miles. Mostly on asphalted streets along the coast.

Day 1: Trogir - Split

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 5 km/3 mi. away from the harbor of Trogir. After check in on the motor yacht the first short cruise starts around 1 pm from Trogir to Split. Here we undertake our first guided walk to the Marjan mountain, a popular relaxation destination for the inhabitants of Split.

Day 2: Cetina canyon and Brac Island

After a short cross we reach Omiš on the Croatian mainland with its pirate castles. Here we have the option of taking part in a 2 hour rafting tour on the Cetina River (not included in the tour price). A second possibility is to take part in a short, only 12 km long cycling tour into the valley of the Cetina River, which has buried itself deep into the cliff faces. In the afternoon we cross over to Brac Island with a swim break. The island of Brac is very famous for its white marble which has been used for the White House in Washington and the Reichstag in Berlin.

Day 3: Brac Island

After breakfast we are going for a 6,2 mi./10 km hike starting from Pucišca. We hike along small asphalted roads and forest tracks until reaching a lonely bay where the boat already awaits us. We can choose to swim to the boat or take the jollyboat. After lunch the boat cruises to a quiet spot for the night. On the way a longer bathing stop is possible.

Day 4: Mljet Island and Korcula Island

In the morning our boat takes us to Mljet, which is also known as the honey island. In the 12th century Benedictine monks founded a beautifully situated monastery, which we see on our short bike trip. The local pine forest is one of the most beautiful of its kind in the entire Mediterranean region; Odysseus is said to have spent 7 years here. Today this region is a National park and one of the highlights of every Dalmatian journey. We spend the nearly whole day here. The National park can be explored by bicycle or on foot or by kayak.

Day 5: Korcula Island and Hvar Island

From Korcula Town we cycle in the morning approx. 7 mi./11 km on a very slightly ascending coastal road to the beautiful harbour of Racišce. From there we cross to the island of Hvar, with a possible break for swimming. After arrival in Hvar Town, we go on a sight-seeing tour through town, across the large Renaissance Square enclosed by the cathedral and many late-Gothic palaces, then a walk up to the Spanish fortress overlooking the town. From there, we have a fabulous view across the town and the surrounding islands. The surroundings of Hvar Town can be explored either on foot in the afternoon.

Day 6: Hvar Island

In the morning the ship takes us to Stari Grad on the north end of the Island. After arrival we undertake a small guided cycling tour through the beautiful Old Town, which has become a Mecca for artists and art lovers in the past few years. Afterwards a short cross over to Jelsa. Alternatively we can cycle from Stari Grad to Jelsa. After lunch crossing to Bol located opposite on the island of Brac. Starting from the harbor, it is an easy walk to the famous „Golden Horn“, a pebble beach extending so far into the sea that it has taken the form of a horn. We can also explore the surroundings of Bol and the „Golden Horn“ by bike.

Day 7: Brac Island – Solta Island – Trogir

After breakfast we head for Solta Island. Our last cycle tour leads us from Maslinica to Grohote, where we can enjoy a honey tasting before we cycle back to the boat that awaits us to take us to Trogir, where we can leisurely end the tour with a guided walk through the old quarters of Trogir. The last evening aboard takes place traditionally and includes the communal dinner and a last get-together in a cosy atmosphere with crew and tour guides.

Day 8: Disembarkation

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.

The Captain reserves the right to change routing and time table because of navigational security.
