Level 2, asphalted or gravelled bike paths, mostly flat but some hilly stretches on the Glockner Bike Path, you cycle mostly downhill, sometimes slightly uphill.

Day 1 - 7: Möllbrücke
Individual arrival to Möllbrücke/Lurnfeld situated at the beginning of the Möll Valley. Check in and receive necessary travel documents. Welcome!

PROPOSAL FOR ROUTING

Lake Millstätter-See round trip (approx. 50 km/31 miles)
You will experience unspoiled nature and cultural diversity in the different areas around Lake “Millstätter See”, which is the second largest lake in Carinthia. If the circuit of 50km is too much for you, please feel free to shorten the distance by taking a boat across the lake.

Glockner bike path (approx. 45 km/28 miles)
By cycle-bus you will be shuttled from Möllbrücke to Winklern. Along the bank you mostly ride downhill following the crystal clear river Möll. Sporty cyclists have another possibility (for an extra fee): Up to 1300 metres above sea level, participants travel by cycle-bus to Heiligenblut which is one of the most spectacular and impressive valleys in all of Austria.  Then you cycle back to your accommodation (approx. 70km / 44 miles - optional).

Lake Ossiacher-See round trip (approx. 29 km/18 miles)
The day starts with a comfortable shuttle by cycle-bus to Annenheim on Lake ”Ossiacher See”. Along this bike path you circle a very popular place to swim. Visit the monastery in Ossiach or simply enjoy some quiet and relaxing hours on the lake. There are lots of possibilities to swim and visit great restaurants. By cycle-bus you will return to your hotel later in the afternoon.

Day of rest
Today you have the opportunity and are more than welcome to enjoy the amenities of your hotel, but you can also make an excursion to the district capital Spittal/Drau. For example, you can visit Castle Porcia (optional). Alternatively you can take the train up to 2200 metres altitude (mountain railway ticket inclusive). Or maybe, you would like to go skiing on the Mölltal Glacier?  As you wish!

Drau bike path (approx. 43 km/27 miles)
Today you have the chance to cycle one of the most famous and treasured European bike paths, the Drau Bike Path. Starting by train, you travel to Oberdrauburg. Surrounded by the Gailtal Alps, you pass the climatic spa Dellach arriving in Greifenburg, a historical village founded nearly 2000 years ago. Finally you move on to Sachsenburg and reach your accommodation at the end of this exciting day.
